Session 3 — Agility, Conditioning, and Baserunning

The Agility, Conditioning, and Baserunning Clinic is designed to help athletes improve overall athleticism, explosive movement, and game-ready speed. Training focuses on acceleration mechanics, quick-change-of-direction skills, lateral agility, and top-end sprint form through structured footwork drills, ladder work, cone patterns, and plyometric progressions.

Conditioning segments emphasize sport-specific endurance, incorporating interval runs, short-burst circuits, and competitive speed challenges to build stamina and power while maintaining proper technique. Baserunning instruction covers starts, leads, turns, and efficient angles, along with reading pitchers, stealing mechanics, and maximizing momentum around the bases.

Athletes learn how to generate speed safely and efficiently while making smart, aggressive baserunning decisions. The goal is to enhance overall speed, improve conditioning, and develop confident, dynamic runners capable of creating scoring opportunities and impacting the game immediately.
